Position Title: Assistant Event Coordinator

Reports To: Lead Event Coordinator and CEO

Classification: Hourly ($18–$22 per hour depending on experience)

Status: Event-Based

Role Purpose

The Assistant Event Coordinator supports the Lead Coordinator in executing event day logistics, setups, and general coordination tasks. This role ensures that all details are handled efficiently and according to the Ascendance standard, allowing the Lead Coordinator to focus on timeline management, vendor communication, and client care.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking growth within the wedding and event industry and provides training toward becoming a Lead Coordinator.

Core Responsibilities

1. Event Setup Support

• Assist in setting up decor, signage, seating charts, place settings, and ceremony items
• Ensure accurate execution according to the client’s layout and notes
• Support venue transitions as needed

• Clean, accurate setups
• Tasks completed on time
